The following photographs from the Birkenhead News illustrate events in the Park e.g. Welsh National Eisteddfod (1917), the Coronation Celebrations (1953) and the visit of American evangelist Patrick Peyton (1952). They emphasise many aspects of sport played in the Park  (bowls, rugby and tennis to name just three) and general leisure use of the Park in past years.
